FAIR IN THE SWAMP

It had been a few years since I joined my toothless carnie friends at the Jersey State Fair at the Meadowlands. I must say that coming to a parking lot in the middle of a swamp in the dead middle of Summer probably wasn't the best idea. I could feel my shoes melting on the blacktop, and could cut the haze with a knife. Luckily the pig races, world's smallest horse and above ground bumper boats made me so cool, I didn't need no stinkin' air conditioning. Here is East Rutherford in all its glory. What the hell year is it anyway?
