Ron Sexsmith I've always loved this guy's voice. I think
I picked up a couple of his CDs back in my ancient Interscope
days, and to this day still pull out this album and enjoy it
immensely. I used to use it as night music to help me unwind
from the day, but now I can enjoy his Western by way of Canada
folk pop during daylight hours as well. At the time, back in
'97, when I first discovered this album I hid it like a guilty
pleasure because of its clear softness (not rock! enough), but
now with the success and general hipster acceptance of contemporary
equivalents like David
Karsten Daniels and Andrew Bird
(different but the same), I can say I listened to him when.
A truly enjoyable time.
