If you need to eat dinner
before a Knicks or Rangers game, you basically have your choice of
three or four places within walking distance of MSG. There's this
place, Mustang Sally's and Mustang Harry's. Take your pick, really.
There is nothing to distinguish one from the other, or from any other
large Irish pub/ restaurant in the city, for that matter. It's pretty
much a cookie cutter, wood and brass kind of pub with burgers, soup
and salads on the menu. We can't imagine that anyone makes a place
like this a destination unless they are going to an event at the Garden,
but in case you are one of them -- there are a million bars in this
city, go somewhere else. [MF] |
