slaughtered lamb Another useless theme restaurant gone horribly awry. Who told these people that death makes people hungry? Decorated in an English dungeon fashion, we assume they just had some left over props from Jekyll & Hyde lying around and decided to make a miniature version of that pit of despair. What does that mean for patrons? Food cooked by a bunch of olfactory defectives and wide-eyed German tourists in tube socks and sandals. The bar up front is big enough to fit a family of very thin midget Pygmies and the winding restaurant really does have the claustrophobic feel of a medieval prison. The only plus about this joint is the extremely small, private bathroom downstairs that makes this the place to come to drop a bomb if you're desperate and in Greenwich Village. [MF]
