Although this bar is
harder to find than a scud bunker in Kazakhstan, it's definitely worth
the search to enjoy at least one drink in this Russian themed lounge/restaurant.
Actually, one drink may be all you'll be able to afford if you're
on a tight budget. Not surprisingly, the drink of choice at Pravda
is the martini, as the place boasts 8,000 different kinds of vodkas
(or something like that). The space is set below the street, is painted
with some Cyrillic lettered murals, and features a bunch of tables
and couches where patrons can slowly sip their magic elixir. The crowd
ranges from very Soho, to oh so Wall Street. Go perestroika! [MF] |
