Oh the monotony! Seriously,
what is the deal with mediocre Chinese food? What's with the half-assed
attempt to take advantage of the people's love of the $4.99 lunch
special? You have to figure that any restaurant that forces you to
order by number is taking some sort of shortcut when it comes to your
food. "I want the sweet and sour chicken lunch special." "What number?" "Um, the sweet and sour chicken number." "What number?" "It's your damn restaurant--shouldn't you know the number?" After finally getting things straight, the true irony hits: the #2 truly tastes like it. [MF] |
