Call us crazy, but I
don't think there has ever been a shred of food prepared, cooked or
eaten at Fitzpatrick's. Maybe the "bar & grille" moniker was added
to the pub's name when it was upgraded from "the place where old alcoholics
could always get a Guinness at 8 AM" to "the place where desperate
UES yuppies search fruitlessly for a drunk mate for the evening."
It's actually not a bad place, and the renovation a couple years ago
didn't hurt, but nobody is ever going to confuse this place for anywhere
you would ever have a lot of fun. [MF]
