Et tu Etou? Yet another
new contender in the UES sushi war--vying for the almighty yuppie
dollar and their penchant for things sans fire. This fledgling joint
has all the tools to go all the way, with the same pricey--but not
too pricey--menu, exposed brick walls mixed with light wood, a nice
back space for larger parties, and decent raw filets of flounder,
yellowtail, salmon and tuna. Ask your server about specials, which
range from soft shelled crab rolls to blue, green, yellow and pink
finned tuna. The vibe here is nice, and we don't think you'll offend
a Saturday night date if you decide to wander on in. Etou will certainly
benefit from the overflow from the other neighborhood Japanese places
that are stuffed to the gills almost every night of the week. [MF]
