If people were really meant to eat this way, we would have been born without taste buds and a sense of smell. Bland doesn't even begin to describe the various lunch and breakfast items that crowd the vanilla menu of this chain "restaurant." Some call it the "white man's McDonald's." We call it shit. Boiled turkey (and very, very little of it) on a tiny, football-shaped oat-bran roll isn't lunch, it's one of those airplane snack-in-a-box treats that come free with every two-hour flight in the mid-afternoon hours. Who knew it was possible to be bored to death by an oriental chicken salad? [MF]
